Tankmates: Aggressive FOWLR fish; keep with large, tough tankmates. Xanthichthys and Niger triggers are kept in some reefs with caution but still eat crustaceans and may nip corals or tubeworms.
Feeding: Include hard-shelled foods to wear continuously growing teeth. Xanthichthys are more planktivorous and also take mysis.
