• Substrate: Use a soft substrate like sand to mimic their natural riverbed habitat and provide a suitable substrate for their digging behavior.
• Hiding Places: Incorporate driftwood, caves, and large rocks to create hiding spots and retreats for the loaches.
• Plants: Include hardy, well-rooted plants like Java Fern or Anubias that can withstand the loaches' digging activities.

Tank Mates:

• Peaceful Community Fish: Clown Loaches are generally peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful community fish, such as tetras, rasboras, or peaceful cichlids.
• Shoaling Species: Keep Clown Loaches in a group of at least 5 individuals, as they are social and feel more secure in larger numbers.
• Avoid Aggressive or Fin-Nipping Fish: Avoid pairing them with aggressive or fin-nipping species that may harass or damage their delicate barbels or fins.

Feeding Habit:

• Omnivorous Diet: Clown Loaches are omnivores and have a hearty appetite.
• Varied Diet: Offer a varied diet that includes high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and vegetable matter like blanched zucchini or spinach.
• Feed Regularly: Feed them small portions multiple times a day to ensure they receive adequate nutrition.
