Gourami

Tankmates: Small/medium gouramis suit peaceful communities without fin nippers (avoid tiger barbs). Avoid keeping with bettas or several male gouramis in a small tank. Larger gouramis eat shrimp and very small fish; giant gouramis eat fish and plants.

Feeding: Most accept prepared foods. Chocolate and licorice gouramis often need live/frozen food. Kissing and giant gouramis need plenty of vegetable matter.
