Tetra

Tankmates: Good community fish with rasboras, corydoras, small gouramis and livebearers of similar size. Will eat shrimplets; adult dwarf shrimp are usually safe with the smallest tetras. Small tetras are prey for angelfish and other large fish. Nippy species are unsuitable with long-finned tankmates; Buenos Aires tetras damage plants.

Feeding: Small mouths - use crushed flake or micro pellets for the smallest species (ember, neon). Variety with frozen/live foods improves colour and conditioning.
