Pleco L240 6-8cm

The L240 Pleco, commonly known as the Galaxy Pleco, is a striking nocturnal catfish prized for its distinctive spotted pattern and peaceful temperament. This small to medium-sized species reaches 6-8cm at maturity, making it suitable for established aquariums of 75 litres or larger. Galaxy Plecos are algae grazers that help maintain tank cleanliness, though they benefit from supplemental sinking pellets and vegetable matter. They prefer dimly lit environments with plenty of driftwood and hiding spots to feel secure. Hardy and relatively undemanding, they thrive in neutral to slightly acidic water conditions and make excellent additions to community tanks with compatible tank mates.
