Snails

Tankmates: Hermit crabs may kill snails for shells; triggers, puffers, some wrasses and hogfish eat snails. Large Turbo snails can knock over unglued frags. Exceptions: bumblebee snails (predatory), some cowries (may eat corals).

Feeding: Starvation is a common cause of loss once algae is cleaned up. Nassarius are carnivorous scavengers.
