Anemone

Tankmates: Mixed reefs: anemones roam and sting corals. Different anemone species should not be kept together (chemical/stinging warfare); clones of the same bubble-tip usually coexist. Hosts for clownfish (Amphiprion), but hosting pairings are species-specific and not guaranteed. Avoid with angelfish/butterflyfish that pick at tentacles.

Feeding: Target feed pieces smaller than the anemone's mouth; regurgitated food should be removed. Overfeeding fouls water.
