  • Water Conditions: The Red Tailed Goby is a rheophilic (current-loving) species from fast-flowing Indo-Pacific streams, so water quality and movement matter far more than decorative perfection. Aim for a stable temperature of 22 to 26 degrees Celsius (71 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit), with 23 to 25 degrees being the sweet spot for long-term health. pH should sit between 6.5 and 7.8, general hardness (GH) between 4 and 12 dGH,
