HM Betta Splendens #HM32

Give your aquarium a striking focal point with a Half-moon Betta splendens. Its caudal fin spreads into a dramatic 180-degree fan, while balanced fins create a distinctly symmetrical silhouette. Its pigment stays stable under typical indoor lighting, so its high-contrast shape remains easy to enjoy at home.

Set it among leafy plants with a sheltered retreat for a planted display. Arrange the plants around the retreat, then enjoy watching your betta swim during a quiet moment at home.

• Aquarium space: Provide at least 5 gallons, giving your betta room to swim.
• Water conditions: Use conditioned freshwater at pH 6.5–7.5 and keep it between 76–82°F (24–28°C); change 25% weekly.
• Gentle filtration: Choose a sponge or hang-on-back filter on low flow to help prevent fin compression.
• Sheltered layout: Add soft substrate, dense live or artificial plants, and a curved ceramic or PVC retreat in a back corner.
• Feeding routine: Offer premium pellets or flakes twice daily, with frozen brine shrimp once a week.
• Steady placement: Keep the aquarium away from direct airflow to maintain temperature swings below one degree per hour.

With its flowing fan-shaped fin framed by a leafy, sheltered setting, this betta brings a vivid point of interest to your home aquarium.
