New Life Spectrum Powder Ick-Shield Bath

New Life Spectrum Ick Shield Powder is extremely effective infighting the ectoparasites such as Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans), Marine Velvet Disease (Amyloodinium), Brooklynella hostilis & Uronema marinum. Unlike coppertreatments, Ick Shield Powder at therecommended dosage does notcause stress or appetite loss infish. For maximum effectiveness, this easily administered bath solution fights both the infectious (tomite) and feeding (trophont) stages of ectoparasite life cycles. Ick Shield Powder is ideal for treating ailing fish that are less inclined to eat due to diminished appetite. It treats a wide range of freshwater and marine fish (including scaleless species). One bottle of Ick-Shield Powder can treat of 1600 gallons of water volume.

Caution: For Aquarium Use Only! For use with ornamental aquarium fish only! Not for use on food fish. Ick Shield Powder should NOT be used with anemones or corals, but will not harm other invertebrates at advised dosages. Ideal for use in hospital/quarantine tanks.

Aquarium Preparation:

• For use in hospital or quarantine tanks.
• No rocks or deep sand beds in tank.
• No UV/Reef lights. These will break down the active ingredient.
• Remove all filtration media and turn offprotein skimmers
• Bioligical filtration (Wet/dry biofilters) is needed for marine aquariums.
• Not to be used with anemones or coral

Treatment and Duration:

• See enclosed instructions for more details and dosage examples.
• Marine Systems: Treat 1 dose for 21 days.
• Freshwater Systems: Treat 1 dose for 14 days.
• Maintain bath solution in water for the entire treatment period.
• If a water change is neede,d prepare new water with the 8ppm dose prior to introducing the new water into tank.
• After treatment perform a thorough water change, and change filter media to ensure no residue from the treatment.
• The treatment bath will clear algae. This can cause a spike in ammonia levels for the first few days!
