The Panda Corydoras (Corydoras panda) is one of the most recognizable and
beloved species in the Corydoras genus, instantly identifiable by its striking
black "panda-like" markings around the eyes and distinctive black spot at the
base of the tail. A peaceful, bottom-dwelling catfish perfect for community
and nano aquariums.
- Origin: Native to the Nanay River basin in Peru. Our stock is 100% captive-bred
and farm-raised in Indonesia, ensuring healthy, disease-free, and well-
acclimated fish.
- Water Conditions: Panda Corydoras thrive in stable water with a pH range of
6.0–7.5 (tolerant up to 8.0), temperature between 22–26°C, and soft to
moderate water hardness. Being scaleless catfish with delicate barbels,
they require clean water and a smooth substrate (fine sand recommended) to
prevent barbel damage. Regular partial water changes are essential.
- Temperament & Tank Mates: A peaceful, highly social shoaling species best
kept in groups of 6 or more. They make excellent companions for tetras,
rasboras, small rainbowfish, and other peaceful community fish. Avoid
aggressive or fin-nipping species.
- Diet: An opportunistic omnivore that readily accepts sinking pellets,
bloodworms, and blackworms. Feed a varied diet for best coloration and health.
- Our Commitment: Aqua Bros specializes exclusively in Corydoras breeding,
using a data-driven approach with temperature-controlled hatchery systems
to ensure consistent quality and healthy fry. Every batch is carefully
graded before shipping.
