HM Betta Splendens #HM07

Give your aquarium a striking focal point with a Half-moon Betta splendens. Its caudal fin opens into a dramatic 180-degree fan, and its balanced silhouette shows off the symmetry of its fins.

Stable pigment under typical indoor lighting makes its shape easy to enjoy during everyday viewing. Set up a planted, sheltered scene at home, then take a quiet moment to watch your betta swim.

• Room to swim: Provide an aquarium of at least 5 gallons and keep the water at 76–82°F (24–28°C).
• Freshwater care: Use conditioned freshwater at pH 6.5–7.5 and change 25% of the water weekly.
• Gentle filtration: Choose a sponge or hang-on-back filter on low flow to help prevent fin compression.
• Sheltered layout: Add soft substrate, dense live or artificial plants, and a curved ceramic or PVC retreat in a back corner.
• Daily feeding: Offer premium pellets or flakes twice daily, with frozen brine shrimp once a week.
• Steady placement: Keep the aquarium away from direct airflow to maintain temperature swings below one degree per hour.

Frame its high-contrast outline with leafy greenery for a peaceful scene that brings a little movement to your everyday routine.
