HM Betta Splendens #HM06

Bring a striking, fan-shaped silhouette to your aquarium with this Half-moon Betta splendens. Its caudal fin opens to a dramatic 180-degree fan, and the balanced shape highlights the symmetry of its fins.

Stable pigment under typical indoor lighting makes its form easy to enjoy during everyday viewing. Frame its high-contrast outline with leafy greenery and a curved retreat for a sheltered aquarium scene.

• Room to swim: Provide an aquarium of at least 5 gallons and keep the water at 76–82°F (24–28°C).
• Freshwater care: Use conditioned freshwater at pH 6.5–7.5 and change 25% of the water weekly.
• Gentle filtration: Choose a sponge or hang-on-back filter on low flow to help prevent fin compression.
• Sheltered layout: Add soft substrate, dense live or artificial plants, and a curved ceramic or PVC retreat in a back corner.
• Daily feeding: Offer premium pellets or flakes twice daily, with frozen brine shrimp once a week.
• Steady placement: Keep the aquarium away from direct airflow to maintain temperature swings below one degree per hour.

Place the aquarium where you can pause for a quiet moment and watch its fan-shaped tail move among the plants.
