Product Description

Biological filtration is a critical process in any aquatic environment. N30 Bio Blocks media outperforms other filter media in terms of removal of fish waste and organics, as well as in term of its clog-free design.

N30 Bio Blocks media are made of durable hardened ceramic, with an ideal ratio of surface area to void space for optimum gas exchange, whereby beneficial bacteria can colonise and break down ammonia, nitrites as well as nitrate quickly and effectively.

N30 Bio Block media can be used in sump filtration systems, OHF, refugium, including wet/dry filters.

Benefits

Made of inert, 100% pure ceramic, kiln-fired and hardened for durability and long life.

Clog-Free design with natural random channeling of water.

Porous filtering surface allows maximum aerobic bacteria colonisation.

300% more surface area than all traditional ceramic filtration media.

Has the ideal ratio of surface area to void space for optimum gas exchange.

Water channeling throughput rate is optimised with the bio-filtration rate.

Accelerates the breakdown of ammonia, nitrites and nitrate.

Does not alter water pH.

Can be washed and reused.
