With their striking cobalt blue coloration and graceful demeanor, cobalt dwarf gouramis (Trichogaster lalius) make a stunning addition to any aquarium. This comprehensive aquarium set provides everything you need to create a thriving habitat for these exquisite fish.

Water Conditions:

✦Temperature: Maintain a water temperature between 77°F and 82°F (25°C and 28°C) for optimal health and activity of the cobalt dwarf gouramis.

✦pH Level: Keep the pH level of the water slightly acidic to neutral, ranging from 6.0 to 7.5.

Water Hardness: The recommended water hardness is soft to moderately hard, ranging from 5 to 15 dGH.

✦Filtration: Install a reliable filtration system to ensure water clarity and remove any toxins or impurities.

Tank Mates:

✦Peaceful Community Fish: Cobalt dwarf gouramis are generally peaceful and can coexist with other peaceful community fish such as tetras, rasboras, danios, and peaceful barbs.

✦Avoid Aggressive Fish: It is important to avoid housing cobalt dwarf gouramis with aggressive or fin-nipping fish to prevent stress and damage to their delicate fins.

✦Pairing Gouramis: If you wish to keep multiple cobalt dwarf gouramis, it is recommended to have a ratio of one male to two or more females to prevent aggression between males.

Feeding Habits:

✦Omnivorous Diet: Cobalt dwarf gouramis have an omnivorous diet and readily accept a variety of foods, including high-quality flake food, pellets, freeze-dried or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia.

✦Supplement with Vegetables: Enhance their nutrition by occasionally offering blanched vegetables like spinach, zucchini, or peas.

✦Feed in Moderation: It is important to feed them small amounts of food multiple times a day to prevent overeating and maintain good water quality.

Care:

✦Tank Size: A minimum tank size of 10 gallons is recommended for a pair of cobalt dwarf gouramis. A larger tank provides more swimming space and reduces territorial disputes.

✦Decor and Plants: Create a visually appealing environment by adding live plants, driftwood, and rocks. These provide hiding places and mimic their natural habitat.

✦Water Quality Maintenance: Regular water changes of 25% to 30% every two weeks are necessary to maintain optimal water conditions and remove accumulated waste.

✦Lighting: Provide a suitable lighting system that mimics their natural day-night cycle to promote healthy behavior and enhance their vibrant coloration.

In summary, the Cobalt Dwarf Gourami Fish Aquarium offers a captivating opportunity to showcase the mesmerizing beauty of these fish in your own home or office.
