Appearance

Diet

Breeding

Breeding Congo Tetras can be challenging but is achievable under the right conditions. A separate breeding tank with slightly acidic, soft water and fine-leaved plants or spawning mops is recommended. The eggs are adhesive and will stick to the plants. After spawning, parents should be removed to prevent them from eating the eggs.
