Care Tips for Blue Grass Guppy

1. Water Quality:
Maintain clean water with a pH level of 6.8–7.5 and a temperature of 24–28°C (75–82°F). Perform weekly water changes (20–30%) to ensure optimal conditions.

2. Lighting:
Moderate lighting enhances the blue coloration and helps maintain a healthy aquatic environment. Avoid excessive direct sunlight to prevent algae buildup.

3. Diet:
Provide a balanced diet that includes high-quality flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms to enhance their color and vitality.

4. Tank Setup:
A well-planted tank with a minimum size of 10 gallons is ideal. Floating plants and hiding spots create a comfortable environment while allowing enough open space for swimming.

5. Tankmates:
Blue Grass Guppies are peaceful and should be housed with other small, non-aggressive fish such as tetras, mollies, and other guppies. Avoid keeping them with fin-nipping species like tiger barbs.

6. Monitoring:
Regularly observe their behavior and coloration. Any sign of stress, faded color, or clamped fins could indicate poor water conditions or health issues. Maintain a stable environment for their well-being.
