✦pH Level: Keep the pH level slightly acidic to neutral, ideally between 6.5 and 7.5.

✦Water Hardness: Balloon Red Eye Tetras prefer slightly soft to moderately hard water with a range of 5-12 dGH.

✦Ensure the tank has efficient filtration and perform regular water changes to maintain excellent water quality.

Tank Mates:

✦Balloon Red Eye Tetras are peaceful and social fish, making them suitable for community aquariums.

✦They are compatible with a wide range of peaceful fish species such as other tetras, rasboras, guppies, small catfish, and dwarf cichlids.

✦Avoid housing them with larger or aggressive fish that may intimidate or harm the Balloon Red Eye Tetras.

Feeding Habits:

✦Balloon Red Eye Tetras are omnivorous and have a hearty appetite.

✦Offer them a varied diet consisting of high-quality tropical fish flakes, pellets, and small live or frozen foods.

✦Include foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia, and small insect larvae in their diet to provide essential nutrients.

✦Feed them small portions multiple times a day, ensuring they consume the food within a few minutes.

✦Monitor their feeding habits and adjust the quantity accordingly to prevent overfeeding and maintain water quality.

Care Requirements:

✦Provide a well-decorated aquarium with plenty of plants, rocks, and driftwood to create hiding spots and simulate their natural habitat.

✦Maintain excellent water quality through regular water changes (approximately 25% every 1-2 weeks) and efficient filtration.

✦Test the water parameters regularly to ensure they remain within the suitable range for the Balloon Red Eye Tetras.

✦Monitor their behavior for signs of stress, disease, or aggression, and promptly address any issues that arise.

✦Provide moderate lighting in the tank, as Balloon Red Eye Tetras prefer subdued lighting conditions.
