✦Filtration: A high-quality filtration system is crucial for maintaining water quality and keeping it free from pollutants.

2.Tank Mates:

✦Peaceful Community Fish: Congo Tetras are peaceful and can coexist with other non-aggressive community fish like tetras, rasboras, and peaceful cichlids.

✦Avoid Fin-nippers: Avoid housing them with fin-nipping species, as the Congo Tetra's long fins may become targets for aggression.

3.Feeding Habits:

✦Omnivorous Diet: Congo Tetras are omnivores and will readily consume both live and prepared foods.

✦High-Quality Fish Food: Offer a varied diet consisting of high-quality flake or pellet foods formulated for tropical fish.

✦Supplement with Live or Frozen Foods: Supplement their diet with live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia for added nutrition and variety.

4 Care Requirements:

✦Tank Size: Provide a spacious aquarium with a minimum capacity of 20 gallons to accommodate a small school of Congo Tetras.

✦Water Parameters: Regularly monitor and maintain stable water parameters, including temperature, pH, and ammonia levels.

✦Decor and Plants: Include plants, driftwood, and other decorations to mimic their natural habitat and provide hiding spots.

✦Lighting: Moderate to low lighting intensity is ideal for Congo Tetras, as it helps enhance their colors and reduces stress.

✦Water Changes: Perform regular water changes of 25% to 30% every two weeks to keep the water clean and healthy.

✦Social Environment: Congo Tetras thrive in groups of at least five individuals, so it's best to keep them in schools for optimal behavior and overall well-being.
