The versatile KLARJET BASIN 5500 is a sand bed filter for all types of swimming pools with a volume of up to 20,000 liters. The sand bed can weigh up to 10 kg and should be natural sand or fine quartz gravel with grains between 0.8 and 1.2 mm in diameter. The filter is powered by a pump with a capacity of 5500 l / h. Caution! Never operate the pump when there are people in the pool. The filter is easy to install thanks to its sturdy plastic base.

The KLARJET BASIN 5500 filter uses high internal pressure to remove all mechanical impurities and keep the water crystal clear. Special features include AUTOCLEAN and BY-PASS functions for easy cleaning and maintenance. The AUTOCLEAN function allows the filter to be cleaned automatically without having to switch off the pump and open the filter housing. Impurities are removed from the filter through a hose connected to the additional third port in the lid. To activate automatic cleaning, simply turn the lever on the filter cover to the AUTOCLEAN position. Then the water flowing through the filter changes its direction of flow, washes impurities from the filter bed and takes them out through the additional nozzle. Drained water can be used to irrigate the lawn. During the AUTOCLEAN procedure you can easily change part of the pool water or empty the pool.

The BY-PASS function allows the filter to be opened without having to switch off the pump. When the lever is moved to the BY-PASS position, the water bypasses the sand bed as it flows through the filter lid. This way you can easily change the sand if necessary.

A notice! You can achieve the highest water quality by additionally installing the UV-C sterilizer AS-11W in the filter. The sterilizer removes bacteria, fungi, protozoa and other microorganisms that are potentially harmful to pool users.
