Tankmates: Only with calm fish that tolerate 28-31 C: cardinal tetras, rummynose tetras, Corydoras sterbai, bristlenose plecos. Avoid angelfish (disease exchange) and fast or nippy fish.
Feeding: Slow, picky eaters; remove uneaten food (especially beef heart) promptly to protect water quality. Juveniles need frequent high-protein feeding for proper growth and body shape.
