A simple guide: offer about as much pellet food as would fit inside the turtle's head, and remove leftovers. Overfeeding causes fast, lumpy shell growth and dirty water.
Released turtles can become invasive and harm local wildlife in lakes and ponds. If you can't keep your turtle any more, rehome it with another keeper or a shop. Jangan lepaskan it into a lake, river or drain.
