Samurai Gourami (Sphaerichthys vaillanti) is a semi-rare species that is found in the Kalimantan River in Borneo. Samurai Gourami are a bit larger than other gourami and are best kept in smaller groups instead of pairs.

✦Water parameters: Maintain a temperature between 75-80°F (24-27°C), pH range of 6.5-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water.

✦Tankmates: Choose peaceful tankmates like tetras, gouramis, or other peaceful community fish.
