Product Details
Red honey gourami (Trichogaster chuna) is a popular freshwater aquarium fish known for its vibrant red and golden coloration, peaceful temperament, and easy care requirements. They are native to the slow-moving rivers and streams of Southeast Asia, particularly India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. In the wild, they feed on small insects, crustaceans, and plants. Red honey gouramis are omnivores and can be fed a variety of commercial fish food, frozen or live food, and vegetables. They are a popular choice for community aquariums, but can also be kept in pairs or small groups in a species-only tank. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water conditions and ample hiding places among plants or rocks. Red honey gouramis are relatively easy to breed, and males are known for their bubble-nesting behavior.
