A uniquely patterned catfish species originating in freshwater streams and rivers of Indonesia, the Harlequin Lancer is an active, aggressive fish which will do best in a large tank with ample hiding places.
Require a large tank of at least 75 gallons. Maintain the water temperature between 75-82°F (24-28°C) with a pH level of 6.5-7.5. Provide them with hiding spots, such as caves and driftwood. They are carnivorous, so feed them a diet consisting of live or frozen foods like small fish and crustaceans. Keep them as a solitary specimen or with large, peaceful tank mates. Regular water changes and monitoring of water parameters are crucial for their well-being.
