Tank mates: Best kept in a species-only tank (a single-species tank) because they are prone to aggression and may prey on other tank mates, such as fish or shrimp, in a community setup. While snails and shrimp might survive, there's still a risk of the crab hunting them. However, if you are determined to have tank mates, some experts suggest cohabitating them with other fiddler crabs of the same species, or possibly other crabs. For best results, ensure you have adequate hiding spaces and a well-designed paludarium.
