Turtle

Tankmates: Not for community aquaria: turtles eat or injure fish and invertebrates. Keep them in their own setup with a dry basking area, a heat lamp and UVB lighting, and check local rules before buying, as some species are restricted in some countries.

Feeding: Many species become more herbivorous with age (e.g. sliders, cooters), while musk, mud and map turtles stay more carnivorous. Overfeeding protein causes shell deformities.
