The Neptune Systems AFS Auto Feeder has a Stay Dry system. Food is stored in a food container that extends and retracts during each feeding. The food container has a built-in gasket that seals out all moisture once it is retracted. This keeps the food dry, prevents the food from clumping together during feeding operation.

While most aquarium autofeeders battle with moisture getting into the food causing food to clump or cake and clogging up the feeder, the Neptune Systems AFS will not have such problems, thanks to the thoughtful Stay Dry system.

Feeding Controls

The AFS is capable of dispensing pellet and flake food in varying amounts. The AFS is compatible with the Apex AquaControllers which can be configured to control the feeding intervals of the AFS.

While the AFS will work with any correctly-sized pellet or flake food, the AFS will work best with Neptune Systems Crossover Diet Pellet Food which has been developed with Reed Mariculture (the manufacturer of Reef Nutrition foods).

The Crossover Diet pellet food is an exclusive new food based on their TDO Chroma Boost that would dispense in consistent quantities from the AFS and bring out the vibrant colors in your fish.
